Terms of Use

These terms cover the Pillara website, waitlist, and related pre-launch services, with clear limits around medical advice and product availability.

Last updated: July 3, 2026

Acceptance

These Terms of Use govern your access to the Pillara website, waitlist, product research, communications, and any related services that link to these terms. By using Pillara, you agree to these terms.

Pillara is currently a pre-launch product. App and hardware features described on the website or in product materials may change before release.

What Pillara Is

Pillara is being built to help people remember, log, and review their medication routine. The planned app is intended to make daily routines easier to track, and a smart medication box is in development as a future companion product.

Pillara is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, dosage recommendations, drug interaction checks, emergency monitoring, or a substitute for professional care.

Medical Disclaimer

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for questions about medications, dosage, side effects, missed doses, drug interactions, treatment decisions, or health concerns.

Do not rely on Pillara for emergencies or urgent medical needs. Pillara does not guarantee that reminders will be delivered, that a dose will be taken, or that adherence will improve.

Waitlist And Research

When you join the waitlist, you agree that Pillara may use your information to send requested updates, understand product interest, invite you to research, and prepare for app or hardware launch.

Survey questions are optional unless clearly marked otherwise. Joining a waitlist does not guarantee access to beta testing, launch availability, pricing, hardware reservations, or any specific product feature.

Accounts And Future App Use

If Pillara makes account-based services available, you are responsible for providing accurate information, keeping your credentials secure, and using the service only for lawful personal purposes.

You are responsible for information you enter into Pillara, including medication names, labels, notes, and schedules. Pillara records user actions and reminders for tracking purposes, but it does not verify that medication was actually taken.

Subscriptions

If paid subscriptions become available, prices, free trials, renewal terms, cancellation steps, and refund rules will be shown before purchase or in the applicable app marketplace or payment flow.

If paid access ends, Pillara may limit access to paid features while continuing to support any free-tier functionality that is available at that time.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Pillara, interfere with the website or service, attempt unauthorized access, copy or scrape content at scale, submit unlawful or harmful material, or use Pillara to provide medical services to others without authorization.

Pillara may suspend or restrict access if we believe use of the service violates these terms, creates risk, or could harm the service or other people.

Intellectual Property

Pillara, including its name, logo, product design, website content, copy, graphics, and software, is owned by Pillara or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not use Pillara branding or content in a way that suggests endorsement, affiliation, or ownership without written permission.

Third-Party Services

Pillara may rely on third-party services for hosting, email, analytics, payments, app distribution, support, and other operational needs. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices.

Pillara is not responsible for third-party services that it does not control.

Disclaimers And Limits

Pillara is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the fullest extent allowed by law. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, error-free reminders, complete accuracy, or a particular health or adherence outcome.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Pillara will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, missed reminders, or health-related outcomes arising from use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms as Pillara develops, including before the mobile app or hardware becomes available. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

If you have questions about these terms, email hello@pillarahealth.com or use the support channel listed in the app when available.
