Privacy Policy

Pillara handles medication-related information with care, collects only what the product needs, and keeps medical advice outside the product.

Last updated: July 3, 2026

Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Pillara handles information collected through this website, the waitlist, product research, and related communications. Pillara is developing a medication tracking app and a future smart medication box, and this policy may be updated before those products become available.

Medication-related information can be sensitive. Pillara is designed around collecting only what is needed to provide the product, learn from early users, and communicate with people who ask to hear from us.

Information We Collect

Information you choose to provide may include your email address, waitlist preferences, support messages, survey answers, and feedback about your medication routine or interest in Pillara hardware.

If you use a future Pillara app, we may collect account information, medication names or labels that you enter, schedule details, reminder preferences, dose status history, notification settings, subscription status, and app support requests.

We may also collect limited technical information, such as device type, browser or app diagnostics, approximate region, pages viewed, referral source, and reliability events needed to understand whether the product is working.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate the website, manage the waitlist, send requested product updates, improve Pillara, understand early interest in the app and box, respond to support requests, and prepare for launch.

If the app is released, medication routine data will be used to provide reminders, show today's schedule, record actions such as taken, skipped, snoozed, or missed, and display history to the user.

  • We do not use Pillara to provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment guidance, dosage recommendations, drug interaction checks, or emergency monitoring.
  • We do not sell personal information.
  • We do not use waitlist information to make medical decisions about you.

Communications

If you join the waitlist or ask for updates, we may send product news, research invitations, launch information, or hardware waitlist messages. You can opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe instructions in those messages.

Transactional or service messages, such as support responses or account notices for a future app, may still be sent when needed to provide the service.

How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers that help us host the website, manage email, operate waitlists, process subscriptions, analyze product reliability, provide support, or protect the service. These providers are expected to use information only to perform services for Pillara.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets. If that happens, we will aim to keep protections consistent with this policy.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards for the information we handle, including encryption in transit and platform-level protections where available.

No website, app, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. You should not send emergency or time-critical medication instructions through Pillara.

Retention And Deletion

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required by law or needed for legitimate business records.

When account features are available, Pillara intends to support account deletion from inside the app. Deletion may remove or anonymize account and medication routine data, subject to legal, security, and billing record requirements.

Your Choices

You can choose not to join the waitlist, not to answer optional survey questions, or to unsubscribe from marketing communications. You can also control browser settings and, for a future app, device notification permissions.

If you have a privacy request, email hello@pillarahealth.com or use the support channel listed in the app when available. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.

Children

Pillara is intended for adults managing their own medication routine. The website and planned app are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as Pillara develops, including before the mobile app or hardware becomes available. The updated page will show a new last updated date.
